m = (C1 x V1/C2) x 1000
In there:
- m: amount of chemicals needed to mix (g)
- C1: concentration of chlorine solution to be mixed (%)
- V1: volume of solution to be mixed (L)
- C2: initial concentration of chlorine-containing container (Chloramine B 25%, Chlorine 70%, Chlorine 90%, etc.)
For example: Need to mix 10 liters of solution with 0.5% active chlorine concentration from 70% active Calcium Hypochlorite powder (70% Chlorine).
Applying the formula we get:
m = (C1 x V1/C2) x 1,000 = (0.5 x 10 / 70) x 1,000 = 72 grams
→ So, you need to weigh 72 grams of Chlorine powder 70 (Calcium Hypochlorite 70%) into 10 liters of clean water and stir until dissolved to get a chlorine solution with 0.5% activity (5,000 ppm).
*How to convert from concentration (%) to ppm and vice versa: P(%) = P(ppm)/10,000
Some notes when mixing AQUACHLOR 70:
Wear full protective clothing, gloves, goggles, long-sleeved clothing when exposed to chemicals.
- Do not use AQUACHLOR 70 powder under high temperature sunlight. This condition will cause chlorine to evaporate, reducing its effectiveness.
- Do not use with other products. Strictly follow the recommended dosage.
- Buy chemicals from reputable facilities and suppliers to ensure quality products and high efficiency.
- Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from high temperatures, sunlight, and out of reach of children.
How to preserve
