Green technology solutions of KPT Group

KPT Group implements tree planting activities in Can Gio, continuing to develop necessary green technology solutions for Vietnam and the world.

Planting trees is a simple activity but contributes greatly to protecting and preserving the living environment. Understanding that, KPT Group has chosen tree planting as one of its “Social Responsibility – CSR” activities. In response to this action, every year on World Environment Day, the group organizes a tree planting trip for employees and their families to participate.

KPT Festival and World Environment Day are held on June 5 every year and are also the day of action for the environment. At this “Tree Planting Ceremony” event, the group coordinated with the People’s Committee of Can Gio district and the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (HANE), the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Can Gio district to organize a forest planting program in the world biosphere reserve, Can Gio district to help raise awareness for the local community and the group’s staff in preserving and protecting the “green lungs” of the world.

KPT Group has partnered with HANE, in providing a new solution to help the local community of Can Gio, creating sustainable development aspects in afforestation and facilitating local people to recycle certain waste treatment products to Ho Chi Minh City.

Through the program, the group also donated 20 million VND to the Forest Protection Management Board; donated 2 water purifiers to Binh Khanh Primary School with the desire to create conditions for children to have clean water to use; donated 20 scholarships worth 1 million VND each to children of forest protection households in Can Gio district. The program also sent the company’s microbiological products to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to help the locality treat waste odors and serve the work of composting organic fertilizers.

All employees of KPT Group are excited about the tree planting activity for the environment.

KPT Group started out with the business of air filtration products and biological wastewater treatment solutions for industries. “We have participated in a number of FDI projects in our previous business activities and provided environmental solutions to multinational companies,” the group representative shared.

According to this representative, a team with high technical expertise is a step forward for the group to develop and become a leading enterprise in the field of environmental emission treatment at thermal power plants, the petroleum chemical industry, and other heavy industries.

The successful construction of an ammonia (NH3) chemical storage warehouse and an import-export station connected to an international port in 2019 also became one of the group’s important milestones in the field of environmental treatment chemical solutions. With a storage capacity of 1,300 tons and owning specialized ammonia tankers, the unit is committed to providing solutions to solve complex problems in the best way. In 2022, KPT Group has taken advantage of available resources to focus on green energy business areas such as Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia and Fuel Cells.

With its strategy and plans for an IPO in the near future, the group hopes to put Vietnam on the map for “Greentech” solutions and innovations in the international market. The main focus and goal is on Green Hydrogen and ways to bring this alternative energy source to the transportation and power generation sectors. Focus on investing in people and facilities to bring green energy to the forefront of key industries.

In addition, the enterprise strives to become a leading company providing comprehensive solutions for green technology and technology and become the largest environmental biotechnology solution research center in Vietnam and aims to become the leading technology and patent owner for green technology solutions in Vietnam and the Asia Pacific region by 2030.
